Marisa is a college grad student of fashion design and fashion management. Her love for styling and fashion came at a younge age growing up watching Fashion Television. She dreamed of one day of having her own designs on people. Marisa was inspired by many designers and Japan street fashion as well as art and films, they gave her the tools to create many of her creations from clothing to accessories. She has styled and design clothing for a variety of events from fashion shows to videos and bands.

When coming up with a company, she wanted to have a name that would leave an impact on people. Whether a good or bad. A name that would stick to people and get there attention. Finding the trend that many people using the word Whore in many different contents helped the birth of the company name, Fashion Whore.
